Ballot Issue 3A, a bond issue to fund health and safety improvements at Cripple Creek-Victor High School, in Cripple Creek, Colorado. Have
you heard about 3A? I hope so!
What you may already know is that 3A addresses health and safety concerns in our Junior/Senior High School. These concerns include adding
currently absent fire alarm and sprinkler systems, removing asbestos, updating inefficient lighting, replacing rotting windows, and balancing
mechanical systems to achieve effective heating. Futher elements are designed to achieve ADA compliance, add security entries and monitors
for safety, and standardize classroom and circulation areas to meet current code. This is a $10.9 million bond
that will cost the owner of a $100,000 home just $1.65 per month.
